Help Families Affected by
Devastating Floods
Relentless monsoon rains have caused severe flooding across parts of India, devastating communities, destroying homes, damaging livelihoods and forcing thousands of families to flee in search of safety.
Assam and Gujarat have been among the hardest-hit areas. In Assam, widespread flooding has affected hundreds of villages, displaced hundreds of thousands of people and caused significant damage to homes, farmland and vital infrastructure.
In Gujarat, districts including Surat, Navsari and Valsad have experienced intense rainfall and overflowing rivers. Thousands of people have been evacuated, while homes, businesses, roads and public infrastructure have suffered extensive damage.
Families Need Urgent Support
For many families, the floods have taken everything. Homes have been destroyed, food supplies washed away and sources of income lost.
As floodwaters begin to recede, families now face the difficult task of rebuilding their lives while
struggling to access food, clean water, medical assistance and other essential supplies.
Children, elderly people and families already living in poverty are among those most vulnerable and urgently need humanitarian assistance.

LIA Relief Trust is working with trusted local partners to provide emergency relief to flood-
affected families in the worst-impacted communities.
Our emergency response focuses on delivering immediate humanitarian assistance to people
