Our 100% Donation Promise
At LIA Relief Trust, we understand that every donation is an amanah (trust). That's why we're committed
to ensuring that 100% of donations given to our charitable appeals are used for the purpose for which they were
donated, in accordance with the donor's intention and applicable charity regulations.
Funds donated to a specific appeal are allocated solely to that appeal and are not used to cover fundraising,
administration, or other organisational costs. This ensures your contribution reaches the beneficiaries and
projects it was intended to support.
We take our responsibility seriously. Before any project is delivered, our teams and trusted local partners carry out
appropriate due diligence, needs assessments, and beneficiary verification to ensure assistance reaches those
who are eligible and in genuine need. We also maintain strong governance and financial oversight to ensure
donations are managed transparently, responsibly, and in line with both UK charity law and Islamic principles.

What about our running and administration costs?
- Similar to other organisations, we have running and administration costs in order to pay for full time staff, rent, utility bills and other non-charity related expenditure. Covering these costs are essential for the day to day running of the charity.
- We have a "Administration Only" pot from which our non-charity related expenditure is covered. This pot consists of funds or donations specified for administration purposes and also tax relief funds claimed on eligible donations (i.e. giftaid).
