9.1     If you place any online donations with us/LIA Relief Trust, we will send you an email receipt confirming your donation along with the details of your donation.

9.2     We do not offer refunds in accordance with Charity Law, unless in exceptional circumstances. Please refer to our Refunds Policy for further details.

9.3     We always ensure that details, descriptions and prices are correct and up to date on our website for charitable and other causes. We reserve the right to refuse or reject any donations where any information has been wrongly published, including details, descriptions and prices of donations.

We will always endeavour to distribute funds in accordance with your/the donor’s preferences, however, in circumstances where we are unable to do so, due to events or occurrences outside of our control, we will allocate any unspent funds to the most needy project at the time or to a similar project in line with your/the donor’s preferences. 

9.7     Our website has a My Account feature which requires a username and password for login. Your personal details and payment details can be stored on your account. It is therefore your/the donor’s responsibility to keep these account details confidential and not disclose them to any third parties. We cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised access to your account or any unauthorised donations made from your account. In the event where you/the donor suspects that someone other than you has access to your account details, you must promptly notify us at [email protected] or on 0116 273 3247.

9.8     We do not accept any liability or responsibility for any loss or damage that you/the donor suffer as a result of using our website.

9.9     These terms and conditions are governed by English Law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts.
