There are approximately 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon. These refugees are suffering from dire living conditions, 90% of them live in extreme poverty. Adults and children alike are going without food and basic necessities. Whilst we sleep with full bellies, theirs are empty! For just £30 you can feed a family for 3 weeks! For £13, you can help keep our Syrian brothers and sisters warm this winter by helping us provide them with a blanket. A mere £15 will provide a gallon of fuel for a family to cook and to keep themselves warm.

There are approximately 522,000 registered school-aged Syrian refugee children and youth between 3 – 24-years-old who have struggled to access an education. With your support, we can continue to run our Beka Valley Quran Centre, not only does this centre provide students with the opportunity to recite the Qur’an, it also allows them the opportunity to memorise it! The Qur’an Centre has become a safe place for children, a place where they can be themselves, help us safeguard them by donating £100 towards it. During our visit, nothing will give us greater pleasure than providing these children with a gift and the recourses needed for their studies. Their smiles speak volumes. The LIA Relief Trust team will be travelling to Lebanon in aid of displaced Syrians. The funds we raise will go towards displaced Syrians inside Lebanon and used for struggling displaced families within Syria. Your donations will not be limited to the aforementioned packages, in the case of an emergency they will be used to aid our Syrian brothers and sisters as seen fit to do so Inshā’Allāh.
