I am raising money as Sadaqah-e-jaariyah for my late grandfather Haji Ismail Tutla. My Nana sadly passed away on the first night Ramadan.

He was an inspiration to us all and always encouraged us to donate to charities and help out as much we can.

My nana to me was always a great role model who taught me many lessons in life from being humble and polite to being charitable. It would only be right for me to carry out the lessons he taught us and to raise money on his behalf.

I wanted to raise this money because my nana was well known in the community and I know a lot of people would like to be part of this sawaab. Charity would always be important whether we gave £1 or £100 but it would always be the moral behind it.

I am pledging to raise towards the following projects:

Hand pump – £185 – provides clean, safe water for years to a family.

Small Water Well – £670 – provides clean, safe water for years to a community of 5 or 6 families.

Bread Factory – £70 – Provides 1000 people with freshly baked bread.

Hadith Books Distribution – £70 – Provide a set of 7 hadith books to a student of knowledge.

Eid gift – £5 – My nana always brought a smile to our faces so only right we bring a smile to a child’s face and give them a moment to forget about their hardships.

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them,” (Hadith, Muslim).
